Welcome to North Carolina!

Welcome to PictureNC

PictureNC is my way of showing the many photos I have taken around NC.

My father was a news photographer for years and I (and my brothers) inherited his love of photography. My dad passed away in 1987 and have many of his photos taken around the state.

The blog will have a mixture of my and my father\’s pictures and with a brief description.

I hope you enjoy PictureNC!

  3. Today I found your wonderful image of the boys (members of your soccer team) in front of the WTC. Maybe you like to participate in our project MY_WTC
Your image would be a great enrichment to the project.
We hope to hear from you

The photo of the WfMY TV license plates you asked about the two varies or pixies on the logo. At one time the tag line for the station was The Pied Piper of the Piedmont and those were pied pipers. Eddie Dick. WFMY. 1966-72

  6. Hey Eddie – I never knew that, thanks for letting me know! I could never understand why ‘pixies’ were a part of the station! 🙂 I hope you are well.
